Hi World
My 97 venture pwr sliding door not functioning. I checked through the forum for any similar postings,but found none with any fixes. I have checked both door switches,they are fine. I have cleaned the contacts on the door post,taken them apart and looked for corrosion. I have reset the door several times. It opened once and closed 3/4 of the way back. I cleaned every ground wire I could find. There is power to the brain,it clicks when you push door switch. I could use some help if you know how to fix this problem. I don't want to be a parts changer,as that gets too expensive.

Has the power been disconnected? I know when you take the post off the battery it takes a while before the door starts working again. Some kind of battery backup or something. If its not that, the motor might be burnt up.

I also had problems with the door not functioning properly, around the same time that I was having low battery issues.
