I have access to a .30 over 327 thats been sitting for years and eventually froze up from supposedly "sitting for so long with no oil".
Definately rebuildable. But worth it? Should I just try to find a 5.7TPI or should I make plans on the other?

I would go for the 327. They are known to be quite potent with those "Fuelie" heads. If you can get it for cheap I would go for it, if you can get it for cheap and don't want it, maybe i'll buy it off of you, lol.

The big thing about 327 is the abilty to rev higher then 350. The stroke is shorter. If you were to compare a 327 and 350 with the same specs, except stroke, the 350 would have more power. I was planning on building a 350 for my friends firebird, but I ended up build a 350 40 over. Reason, I could get more power out at lower RPMs, and I didn't need a motor that revved out as far as the 327 did. Hope this helps.
