Custom Interior

Has anyone done any custom work to their interior. I am looking at putting a screen into the console where the tape deck is. It's for a 2001 silverado LT.

I don't have one, but I know a little of what's involved. Whether you have a screen or installing a cd player/screen, you just remove the tape deck and cut the hole to size. They should also come with a backplate and wire harness. They should hook straight up, but you may have to buy a converter. Also go talk to stereo shops and see what they do.

You should get some custom seat covers...check this site out, these covers look like you've had the seats upholstered: www.wetokole.com
Also, get a different gauge face plate, gauge needles, rear view mirror, floor mats (or custom carpeting). You can also get this paint stuff that changes the inside color of your doors and dash and like material. Get creative. You could get a different steering wheel. Just a few ideas for you, hope it helps a little bit!!!

Well Chevy-girl, my brake problem is fixed. Does that change anything between you and I? Its been several days since i asked you to marry me and miraculasly i'm still single. I've got your Wet Okole seat covers(which I highly reccomend) in black and grey and for floor mats you can't go wrong with the original Husky Liners(black of course) in a charcoal interior. I don't know if this counts for interior enhancements, but I filled that blank panel on the overhead console with a blue XM commander control.
