Honda's B series DOHC VTEC enignes all make peak hp at around 7,500-8,000rpm, yet make about 90% of thier peak torque at about 3,000rpm and hold at least 90% untill redline.
Thats pretty high revving with a massive powercurve.

Rotary engines can rev high as 13,000 rpm and + and still have power at that peak.

Wankel engines usually can't handle much higher revs than what they do stock.
WRC engines get over 200 hp at 2000 rpm, then above 300 hp all the way from 3000 rpm to 7500 rpm which is the speed limit. The power peaks at around 5500 rpm at around 330 hp... thats an impressive curve.
