What is the stock wheel composition?

One of my front wheels has a crack in it that's leaking air. I have a guy at work that can weld it, but he wants to know the metal composition. Does anyone know offhand?

If you have the black wheels with hub caps then you have steel wheels. If you have actual rims and no hub caps then they are made of aluminum.
