My t-top on the passenger side started to leak... started recently so it's still a very small leak. Was wondering if theres any cheaper, easier solution than replacing the weatherstripping.

I had the same prob with my 98 z28. Took it to a body shot and he said to put some cylicone spray on it to lube it up. Have not tried it yet but if you do let me know

where is it leaking? i used some black silcone caulk to stop my leak, but that depends on where your leak is...

the lube would have helped before it started leaking, but if it has started leaking, then it is probably already cracked, and will never seal without new weatherstripping

use some vaseline, it works. dont glob it on, just enough to get the seals softend up so that they will seal.

Does anyone elses windows leak here? like where the window seals to the ttop? I don't know if that's what RS is talking about, but my side and passenger side has a small water leak, like if i got wash my car water might spray in...just a little bit tho!

I guess it would depend on where she is wet... My t-tops leak in the high presure car wash. Or since I live in the PNW we get rain for weeks at a time coming down side ways and shit then my t-tops leak.

yeah, to me the little leak, and wet butt syndrom is a fine price to pay for the T-tops, all T-top camaros will eventually leak, its a given, but i would say, if you can track down where its leaking, a little black silicone caulk on the crack will bide time, then replace them when it gets worse.

there is a roll of this stick black stringy stuff that you can put onto your seals and it will compensate room in there and make a good seal if you apply it right. I have used it on a few cars before (never any of my f bodies) and it had always worked pretty well.

haha yea, don't need stat. on your record. and i guess ill try it then... when its dry out and i can let it cure/have window open

lol, stat?? you give me too much credit man, i get laughed at long before it gets to that point ;) lol. but yeah, give that stuff a try, it certainly cant make the leak any worse right??? but it might create a god aufull mess to clean up if you wind up putting new weather stripping in later. just something to think about.
