auto to manual swap

anybody here ever done the tranny swap, my lx tran is a little tired, and i'm thinkin about swapping to a manual. Anyone ever done it?? Are there alot of other parts to swap too?? Just contemplating runnin my station wagon through the gears myself. Gimme some feedback fella's

ur gonna need the tranny,manual ecu, manual tanny mount bracket, pedal assembly, master cylinder, cables, etc.. i havent actally done it yet, but am planning it so be sure to tell me how urs works out

you are forgetting about the axles and the clutch pump. anything is possible,but research your info as much as possible, the lasst thing you want to do is have your car parked for months.

just a quick stupid question, does it hurt the transmission when you dont down shift while braking and just wait till ure stopped to push back to first? i dont do this but i know people who do and i am just wondering

^doesn't hurt a thing to not use engine braking
