Tahoe SS ?'s

Does anyone have part numbers for the body kit on the all black Tahoe SS's? :smokin:

and i think thats a yukon ss, chevy version is the "sport" correct me if im wrong

there's no such thing as a tahoe ss. the yukon JD68 is talking about is the yukon gt, which is the same thing as a tahoe sport, both are two-doors, and neither have body kit. the only all-black fullsize gm suv is the tahoe limited which is a four-door and was only made in 2000. i duno about the body kit part numbers though, heh.

Hey guys, I have an all black 2000 Tahoe Limited 'SS'. Yes there is a Tahoe SS. I will get you the part numbers soon. I'm really busy with work lately but I will try posting them here in a few days or so. But just for the clarification, YES there is a Chevy Tahoe SS, its just an engine option upgrade from the Limited.

Chevy did make a Tahoe SS, but it started in 2003, not 1999 -- which is what I think Pakeboy2 is looking for.

As for the Limited SS, there is no such thing. If you find a 2000 Ltd with SS markings, it's definitely aftermarket. Chevy never made such a thing for production.

I found the following:

1) raceway-usa.com. It's not really a ground effects kit, but it's the closest thing I could find... Stock #prv-97400 - complete abs ground effects kit: front bumper cover, side skirts w/steps, door panels - $1250.00

2) ridinlow.com. This for the Escalade, but they might have a Tahoe kit, too... Piece Body Kit for the 99-01 Escalade - $2250.00

The 2000 tahoe limited is the same as a 2000 tahoe "SS" it would have gone into production as the SS but they didnt want to have the added expense of what the SS badge brings...


As far as Pakeboy2, if you look at his avatar and notice his 1999 tahoe, he's probably looking for the body kit for the 2000 tahoe limited

Back on topic, GM sells the pieces for the body kit, but their expenseive as heck. I went to replace the rear piece behind the rear wheel... $120!!! just for a 9 inch piece of plastic :banghead:

Does anyone no if there are new Tahoe SS's being manufactured, and where i would go to buy one? The chevrolet dealer says i can't get one there. Thanks.

That 9" peice of plastic is gonna cost $120 from dealership 'cause there were very few limited edition Tahoes made. Suprised you can even locate that part at the dealer, bet its special order
