Trooper gas mileage

I have a 99 Trooper. Engine was replaced at about 60000 miles - you got it the oil was suddenly all gone - no warning light, nothing! That was last yr. Over the last cpl of months I am getting really low gas mileage. I drive about 60 mi per day to & from work on I-5 so should not be so bad. What can I do to improve mileage? Had some work done but no improvement in MPG. Thanks.

Those are Callaway C12's.... they are alot more than a re-worked Vette. They have quite a bit more power, have better suspensions, and cost WAYYYYYYY more.

It's a 91' 240sx SE. I bought it for $300 (from this crackhead I know). I Just had it painted Metallic Charcoal Grey with 2 coats of Clear a few months ago. Currently I am working on upgrading the suspension. Then hopefully getting the all important SR20DET.

Yes, WITH running engine. My buddy started out wanting $2000 for the car. A week later went down to $700. Later, that same night, he called me up saying that I could have the car for $300. I told him to come down with the title and I'd pay him. The next morning, he was flat broke and I had his 240. He told me he went on an all night crack binge. Lucky me (unlucky him)!!!
