Hey guys I have an 84 Vic with a 5.0L TBI. I am having problems with it stalling when idleing in gear or low speeds, when the steering wheel is turned. What bumps the idle for the power steering and why ain't it working?

5.0L TBI
What's TBI?? All i got from that is you have an '84 Crown Vic with the 305 (5.0L) small block V8.
As far as the problem with the stalling, i'm assuming a carburator here, i'd check your timing and how high the idle is set. Another problem may be that the butterfly valve could be sticking open. My final suggestion is to check the air hose conected to the filter box over the carbeurator and make sure nothing has come loose.
That ought to do the trick for ya.

302 Throttle Body Injection (meaning Fuel Injected)(not multiport) sorry for any misunderstanding

Sorry for the delay in coming back to check. Since it's fuel injected, i'd recommend an injection flush and running a tank of gas with fuel injection cleaner in it.
Your local shop can run the flush for you, and the cleaner costs about 5 bucks and can be found at about any gas station or department store with an automotive department. See how that goes and let me know, as if that doesn't do it i can make a few calls on your behalf and see if i can't get another solution for you.

or Idle Air Control possibly defective also The MAP sensor could be to blame. Try cleaning the Egr valve. and could be as simple as a Vacuum leak
