I just told another newbe this, we can't help you if you don't know where you are trying to go, we are not psychic to know your budget, intentions, and passion. You could have $30,000, $3,000 or even $30 budget, you might want to road, drift or drag race, these are three different setups. Tell us what you want, what you have to work with and we, well actually they will give you info, ideas, and insight (not much of an import guru, don't know shit about SRs, thats why I am here).
And also research in the FAQ, there is tons of info there.

RESEARCH is your friend, and reading other people's threads. Until then, there's a million things you can do, it's up to you to start reseaching what you want to do

want my opinion? DRIFT. s13's/s14s arent benz's. they wont get all the honeys (besides pre-pubescent asian girls obsessed with rice) drive your car like it was built to be driven.
aftermarket 2-way lsd (kaaz or cusco) around $1000 if you cant install yourself
act street clutch and flywheel (comes in a set sometimes for around $500)
then spend the rest of your money at a mexican used tire shop and buy as many tires as you can.
fuck suspension, you just got your car, learn to drive it before spendin +$1000 on a set of coilovers that dont suit your driving style.
oh yeah, buy some cheap-o red seat covers from autozone and some "mynismo" stickers
