Hello, new here. I've got electrical problems and i'm no electrician... i installed a new alternator a year ago and right after installing it my alt, parking and one other light (can't remember right now) would stay dimley lit. I assummed that this was a ground problem or a prob with the alternator itself. I didn't replace the alternator since i got it cheap and the only problem was the lights in my dash. A few weeks back a new problem came up. All of my lights would start to strob once i hit about 2800 rpm. It would continue for usually a specific amount of time and then would stop, as if it took about 20min for certain wires to warm up.

Does anyone out there know whats going on?

Thank you

You might want to check your fuses in the fusebox! When I replaced my alternator just recently, I had very similar problems to the ones you're describing. I looked in the fusebox and I found that the alternator fuse had somehow blown! (there was no little metal bridge connector thingy on top, it was laying down below it). I went to autozone and picked up a new fuse for about $2.50 and that fixed my problem instantly!

I'm not positive that this will fix your problem, but it's something to try! :)
