new chassis with blown engine question

people, i found someone with a supra with its engine blown, i'm suspecting overheating and gasket malfunction since when it happend a lady was driving it....it is a 5-speed i'm not shure if it is turbo since i was told about it by someone who knows more about domesticating chickens than cars, anyways, he did tell me that the exterior is well taken care of and that the interior too....he also said it was a '87 and he mentioned somehting about a little spoiler in the back...noe...i don't know much about supras, but having a spoiler doesn't it means having turbo?

anyways, how much would be a good price to give to the guy whos selling it? i was thinking about offering him about 200$ and tell him all about the repairs i need to do to it...

since i already have a 88 supra, i was thinking bout swapping the engine coz mine is auto..and i want manual...

any feedback or pointer to what to look for having in mind that the engine is blown would be really appreciated
