1999 Century-Electric window Problem

My 1999 Century has had 3 window motors/actual arms go out in 2 years. This is very annoying if it's out of warranty because they cost $450 each to fix at the local dealer. Is this a big problem with other Centurys? I'm about ready to get rid of my "granny car" and get an import!!
