hey guys....i did a search on cleaning the intercooler and everyone and every site says that i should use gasoline, but the thing is after i clean it with gas.....do i rinse it with water...i was thinking no because it could rust the metal....but just leaving the gas on there after it dries doesnt sound like a good idea.... so let me know. thanks!

Yea, it's fine. You don't need to wash it out with water; the gasoline evaporates fairly quickly if you let the IC sit out in the sun for a few hours.

As mentioned above, gasoline evaporates quickly. Leave it out for a half hour before you reinstall it, and you wont have any issues. This is the method that everyone has been using for at least as long as DSMs have been around ;)
