My 95 4.6 has 3.08(non limited slip) gears from the factory I want to change them, but I have to keep good gas mileage! What do you guys suggest I am in college and working at a part time job so money is short to be running 4500 rpms at 65 you know what I mean.

I appreciate any help I can get on this it will help me a lot!

With 3.73's in 5th gear on the highway (65mph) I run somewhere close to 2200 rpms, +/- a few hundered. I would suggest 3.73's for an all around gear. Just as a point of reference, when I switched from 2.73's to 3.73's in my notch, I did not notice enough of a change in MPG worth calculating.

Thanks man I figured you or GTStang would answer for me!

That was the gears I was looking into, but I wanted someone else's opinion
