how can i increase torque ? is it possible to increase it with out horse power gain or do i just have to keep increasing the horse power with boltons and engine work? cuz b16a torque sucks

hp is calculated from torque so if you increase torque you are going to increase your hp

well you could gain more torque with no gain in hp but you'd hafta also decrease your rpms. hp is a factor of torque and rpms

yeah but that would never happen. even if hte torque curve shifted left, the torque gain would still be higher in some spots therefore increasing hp

i wanna go all motor i dont like that forced induction crap whats the best way to increase torque and horse power ... whats the best internal job i can do that wont cause too much wear on a daily driven car

Gearing, making them shorter will give you the effect of more torque.

You can change the clutch to a steel clutch and lighten the flywheel to about 8lbs but you will gain horsepower from lightening the flywheel

Buy an American V8 if you want torque.
Looks like you didn't research too much on what you really wanted. The only way to get torque out of that engine is through boost or nitrous. Even then, the torque will always be relatively lacking behind the hp numbers.
