lifters knocking

Has anyone had any problems with their lifters knocking when the engine is cold. I have just recently heard this noise. I was tolld by a friend that it might be the lifters but I am not sure yet. If anyone has heard this or has a suggestion it would be appreciated.

Congratulations you probably have "Cold Start Knock" this is a very common GM problem that GM says is totally harmless. Check this out for more information. www.pistonslap.com

I have used it in the past but only for guages. How would I use that oil?

You just pour a bottle in there when you change your oil. The directions should be on there. It is very easy.
