nothing beats sitting in a (69) orig. car with that old ass smelly leather and the car just rocking back and forth with a heavy cam, even if it's not running 6s it's sill the perfect car

the fourth gen had the same look way too long. Did anyone ever think that if there had been a fifth gen like five years ago that the f body might not have died? They had a ten year old body on a 20 year old chassis did they not?

I took a 69 camaro to the prom my senior year. I had more people come up to talk to me in the two days i had that car than the entire time i have my 1992 RS. Even though my car is faster i would trade anyday.

actually for strait from the factory speed, 1969 ZL1, that thing ran 0-60 in sub 5 seconds, and the quarter mile in 11.73 seconds, on 6in bias ply slicks, imagine what it would do with todays rubber on it :)

In this thread, when dealing with second gen camaros you should separate 70-73 camaros from 74-81 camaros. I can't stand the fact that my car, a '73 Camaro, is of the same generation as an ugly 74-81 camaro... Hideous!! They can be fun though, you can still shove a big block in them.

Hard to decide, either a 1969 RS SS 396 or a 1970 Z28 with the LT1 350. I'd have to go with the second gen though.
