I was driving down the highway and all of the sudden for no aparrent reason my car lost alot of power. It stalls just about every time you come from a stop. Any ideas? It's an 85 1.5 Carbed S.O.B. Hmm, really pisses me off too. Any & All advice much appreciated! Thanks,

Have you checked the vacuum lines or the fuel pump? Maybe the fuel filter is clogged.

maybe you got water in the carb, check the lines like ^^said, then check your throttle cable and idle speed sensor.

Well it seems to do it every now & again, but it'd be really nice to know exactly what causes it though. I recently replaced both fuel filters, but the fuel pump is questionable, how would i check to see if it's operating properly? I know my carb needs a rebuild, got a kit but don't know how to rebuild the damn thing! I have a few vaccum lines that are plugged up because i have no idea where they go, i know this could cause issues, any good ideas on how to figure out where the vaccum lines go?

Thanks again,

I am not totally sure, but I read something like you disconnect one of the fuel lines and turn on the car. If there is air coming out then your pump is working. But that's after you De-pressure the fuel system and some other stuff. I am too lazy to go find out the details right now.
