v6 to a v8

i have a 97 v6 camaro rs, i want to change out the transmission and engine out with a z28 engine and transmission. how hard is thas to do? :banghead:

It wouldnt be that hard depending on how much experience you having doing this sort of thing. Just make sure you get all the nessicary parts. You need all the electronics and the better cooling system and possibly the fuel pump but im not sure.

do a search on this forum, there are many threads with this information in them.

it's going to be expensive.. i figure it'll be cheaper just to get a Z28..

yeah i'll agree....cheaper just to buy the z28, cuz i've thought about doing the same thing!
