Speed Sensor

Anyone everthink about taking off the speed sensor to the 3.0L V6. I have a 94' toyota pick-up and doing 95 mph I am at about 3900rpms
if it red lines at 5700-5900 then that is like an extra 30-40mph if anyone has any input or has already done this and succeeded or failed please respond today 7/11/04 going to do it tonight. hope it works

You can not remove the speed sensor, I think u are confused. Speed sensor is built into the speedometer and your truck will not run w/o it. You might be able to change the redline with a jetchip, because all that is in the ecu.
