94 integra LS with 160k
i was wondering. the power decrease as the engine gets older. for my car, and considering the mileage and year... can anyone please gimme an estimate of how much ponies i might have (from experiences and etc) should I give it in for a major tune up or rebuilt engine? currently, it runs strong still but im just thinkin ahead so that itll always be in good shape before I encounter a problem in the future.
thank you

Kinda hard to say, but yeah you will alway lose power with an older car when it gets more miles on it, and it's pretty hard to calculate how much you did lose without using a dyno. But in order to make that to work you would have had to run it once when it was new.

unlikely to lose more than 10hp as long as its running strong and healthy. I personally would just leave it alone and take care of it as long as its running well
