Holly Carb Bracket

I got a tv cable bracket for my holly carb. i have no idea where it goes? the only place it seems to fit is under the back left bolt of the carb. but wouldnt the carb be lifted up then? im so confused.

well i emailed TCI but they didnt get back to me yet...its there bracket so i figured id try them first.

haha the guys at thridgen.orn figured it out in like 3 minutes for me. i had the bracket upside down. damn imma idiot..ok time to go work on it!

actually im not an idiot...my bracket is different from theirs..o well ...ill just cut the little tab off and itll work

i got a dremel:) lol..but a guy at thirdgen just told me not to cut it...he told me to grind down part of the carb so it fits.

uhhhh, I would still probably have a go at the bracket. Why shouldn't you grind the bracket? I can't see that messing anything up, you will probably wil have to adjust the cable anyway.

he said the tab is there so the bracket doesnt move from side to side. if i tighten the bold down too much it could warp the carb baseplate

I'm glad I didn't run into that problem, I would of grabbed my pencil grinder and just went sick on the bracket.

I never gave much thought about it on my S10. Then again, maybe thats why I had to adjust it every other time I drove it.
