xample are you running bicicle tires or something because at those trap speeds you should be a second faster.

The srt4's (also fwd) run ~13.8 at 102 and high ~12's at 111

1972 Chevrolet Vega (its a race car, and I don't have 1320 et.s or 660 for that matter-atleast not with this engine, lol but I do have 60' and 330' times)
400 small block Chevy bored .030 (406 ci), 13.5:1 pistons, .630 lift roller cam. 2.20 intake, 1.6125 exhaust valves (I think, may be jsut 1.60), fully ported and shaved PRO 1 cast iron heads, Eldebrock Victor Jr. intake, Holley race ready carb (its an odd ball CFM, somethign like 840 or 830 or soemthing), headers, powerglyde trans. .513 12-bolt rear end, full electronics (delay box, trans break, 3-step rev limiter, line luck), full roll cage, etc etc

best ever run @ 330 ft. local track: 60ft: 1.46, 330ft: 4.25

best ever run @ 1/8th mile with 355 SBC with similar set up minus 2.20 valves (2.05s) and race ready carb (had regular 850 CFM at that time, but with big jets): 60 ft: 1.43 (this track hooked up 1 tenth better then our regular track, so at our track this woudl equal out to 1.53s), 330: 4.30 (again, be like a 4.40 out our regular track), 660: 6.71 @ 101 mph

Estimated 660 ET with current engine: 6.40 @ 107 mph.

Estimated 1320 ET: 10.00s or 9.90s @ around 135-140 mph.

DAMN! I am liking those cars more and more. Are they impossible to find in good condition with low miles?
What were your 60's on slicks?

Edit on the bst MPH, 111.94 is with slicks and pump gas, 116.54 is with slicks and race fuel. (118 Torco NOS grade 27 PSI of boost.)

No they are very possible to find in VERY good shape. Everyone will tell you that they are too expensive to buy but the money you would spend to get a 5.0 mustang to do what my car does makes up for the up front price by far.

My best 60' was a 1.693 I avrage a 1.70something though. Depends on the track.

Here is a pic when I was pegglegged and rinning 12.60's on drag raidals and my OOOOLd setup.\

Edit: bacuse i was drunk.

My mods are in my sig . and I took it to the track and i ran 15.6 tha's actualy good for a n/a , and i haven't done no big mods just removing emision stuff, and running staight pipe wich is good on a cuz fc's have a lot of restriction on the stock exaust sys.

one of my big mod is gonna be rebuilt and big street port , clutch and flyweel . wich hopefully brings me in high 13 low 14's

My goal would be low13 high 12 and still be N/A. so will C.

-Damaged front bumper
-Parking scuff on Left Rear wheel arch
-Deep scratch of RR door
-Pushed back headlight

1986 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5L

Pretty stock, just modified the AFM, fuel injection, new Ansa exhaust ect.. Most of the work done to the engine was switching inferior components like the water pump, timing belt tensioner and so on, to make the car more reliable.

I've never timed it on a 1/4 mile or run it on a dyno so Ill give you the official specs for the stock car:

Standing ¼ mile: 16.7 s, 84mph

Max Power 160 bhp (DIN)
@ 5600 rpm
Max torque 157 lb ft @ 4000 rpm

MAXIMUM SPEEDS

Gear mph kph rpm
Top 132 212 6000
4th 107 172 6400
3rd 81 130 6400
2nd 56 90 6400
1st 31 50 6400

I believe the GTV6 used in the above test was an '83 which means it has higher gear ratio's then my Alfa, therefore my 1/4 mile time should be a little faster. Not exactly a drag car :disappoin

Best 1/4 mile time is in my sig. Runs 12.3/4's in the heat. Just put in some ported 2.02 heads. Intercooler will be going in over the next couple weeks. Should be good for some nice 11's after that, even in the heat ;)
