My muffler has a hole near the beginning of it, so does that increase the flow? just asking, cuz i love that sound now. the exhaust burbles and snap crackle pop wen i let go of the gas as the engine winds down. so nice. But wondering if performance is affected.

muffler never really effects perfomance unless its to restrictive and you are running HEAVY mods

Kill yourself. Having a hole in ones muffler does not increase flow. It would actually decrease the performance and flow, and does add a lot of sound. From my experience if you have a hole in your muffler, you get it replaced or repaired. I would recommend you by yourself a high flow muffler and maybe bigger piping and a high flow cat to give yourself a better sound. Trust me, I promise that by doing that it will sound MUCH better than a hole in a muffler. Drive on

why do honda guys come into ford forums? to provide useless info? ya i think i hit the nail on the head there..... ur a bright one.... :flipa:

as for the muffler depending on where you are from...... you may get pulled over for a noise ordinance..... thats why it's called a muffler.. it muffles..
