Nice guy I know it's been a long time cause I remember all the problems you had like a year ago with the Tweecer and #42 injectors. Nice you got it running enjoy!!!!

Thanks guys. It's actually been down since the fall of 2002, but the motor wasnt put in until last July. After the the 500-1000 mile break-in period, I'm definitely hitting the track. I cant wait to see what all the work was for, ya know!
It's still running a bit rich, but I'm gonna do the usual checks later today. TPS, MAF, FP and such so I'll let ya know. Whats a good base FP with vacuum disconnected? The trans seems to be running a little hot too, cause on the test drive my feet were roasting. I have no interior at all though except for a drivers seat so I dont really know what to think about that.

Stock FP is 38-39 psi. I have mine set at 44, and it still seems a little rich. Only real way to tell what's the best is by a dyno tune.

Well the engine itself seems to be running strong and constant now. Its the trans thats worrying me! In overdrive or drive, there is a late and slow shift into 3rd. I have yet to go faster into overdrive for fear of burning up the trans. If I start out using the "manual" shift pattern(1, 1-2-1, D) its shifts solid and quick, damn near perfect. I'm thinking a little TV adjustment might help but this is NOT my expertise. One of my fellow racing buddies(he has like an 87 Monte SS built up) came over today and he said that you could adjust it by feel, versus using a line pressure gauge. Something along the lines of pulling the throttle lever to wide open and adjusting it so its just tight? Any thoughts on that?
Secondy I can smell gas in the oil, not a hell of a lot, but its there. I guess I'll pull the plugs tomorrow and check em out. Any thought on that?
I have the fuel pressure, tps, idle, and timing adjusted right. Timing is set at 10* for now, fp w vacuum disconnected at 40 psi, tps is at .98(was at 1.28!) and the idle is at 950rpm.
Last but not least, sorry to be so long, the oil pan is leaking AGAIN! I guess me and oil pan gaskets just dont mix!

WoW. I finally stumped everybody. Well I just got the TV adjusted earlier w/ the proper tools from my work. I took it out for a test drive and the thing is lugging/bucking out on me, shaking under full throttle like it was out of balance really bad. It felt just like it did before when I accidentally left the spout connector out after setting the base timing. Part throttle is fine, but any more and its bad, no acceleration at all. The weird thing is that it only does it now and then. Any thoughts?

The only reason ya oil would smell like gas would be fuel wash. Turn ya fps down to 38 and see how it runs. Do you have any A/F meters on ya car?
You still running a Tweecer?

No A/F gauges. I figured I'd wait until I get the turbo before I do that. I still have the Tweecer, but its not hooked up right now.
Now theres another problem though. My battery light is on while driving or idling, whenever. The alternator is charging and is hooked up right and the battery is still fairly good. I'm not sure where to start on that. Could I not be getting enough of a spark and thats whats causing my shuddering?
