Cv Joint Question

the cvs are going on my 92 teg and theyre clicking like crazy and i was wondering wut is it goin to be like when they finaly break i wanna make sure im not goin to be goin down the highway and have them go and end up in a ditch if any1 knows what happens when cvs go please let me know

mine may be going too but I'm not sure. They click when I turn right so I'm assuming that it's the drivers side that's going. I came across an article in doing the research that said that you shouldn't postpone cv joint replacement too long becuase the joint can become damaged to the point that it locks up completely! Could be scary on the highway when one of your tires locks up on you

Working in a dealership, i've seen worse...
If the CV joint breaks on the wheel side, it can litteraly explode to pieces and you'll have half a CV joint spinning around and crushing every suspension part around cause it'll still be in the tranny
