About the transmissions

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about a large transmission recall around 1999-2000. From what I have been told by friends at dealers and whatnot, apparently Crystler used Mitsubishi transmissions and mass failures were reported and many were recalled. The 1999-2000 Mitsubishis are supposed to have a high chance of transmission failures but I havent been able to find anything relating to this on google. If anyone has heard of any transmission recall with any mitsubishi in the years of 1999 thru 2000 plz reply. Links to sources would be appreciated.

Call a Mitsubishi dealership. They will tell you if there were any recalls for whatever Mitsu car you own. The manufacturer sends out notices for recalls and does not try and hide them. They'd get screwed if they did. The 3000GT had a recall for the transfer case, and thats the only one I know of.
