driver's side turn signal

my driver's side turn signal won't work like it should and the left turn arrow on my dash doesn't blink when i use it please help

check the bulbs and fueses

It the dash light comes on but won't blink you have either a bad bulb or a bad ground - if it's a bad ground it's probably up front because the rear lights have only one ground wire and if that loses connection all the tail 8 light bulbs (including both L & R turn signals) stop working.
