***engine Removal***

ok so i took all the mounts off.... now its hitting the axles... i am dropping the tranny and motor together then seperating them then pulling the block out the top.... now i cant seem to get it past the axle.... any advice? :screwy: its starting to piss me off... i got it this far and i cant get the fucking block out... any help is appreciated!

dude did u get the cv joints out. how exsactly are u stack? hitting the axles??

no see i am dropping the motor + tranny together then seperating on the ground then pulling the block out the top....simple i got it now...

cause he is getting his block bored and puting pistions and rods in!

Thats an odd way to go about it. I find it easier to drop the tranny, then its only an hours work to pull the block. Putting them on the ground risks crushing the oil pan, right at the pickup.

yea he said he was goin to take both out the bottom but i told him it would be much easier and less chance for damage to the motor if he pulled it out the top!
