I am in need of a passenger side headlamp assembly foy my 1989 TA.
I don't know how to explain everything I need, I just bought this car and the last owner must've hit something with the headlight and busted the hinge mechanism and everything. So I guess i need every part that has to do with the headlight.
I hate to sound stupid but i am also wondering about the motor, I thought it was a 350, but from what I've been reading the only 350's available for that year were TPI, Is that like multi port injection?
This has throttle body fuel injection with the big black air cleaner. Maybe it's a 305, but regardless I'm happy with it. I just thought it must be a 350 because it's WAY faster than the 350 in my 95 silverado.

Good buy on that headlamp
As far as the 350 in your silverado those are good engines no doubt. Your truck has 200 horespower, and most of the power it has is torque. Those are not bad trucks, andi have always thought that they were quick for a big vehicle. but your firebird (assuming) that it is a 305 will have about 190 hp on a much quicker chassis and unless the truck has the Z71 package your car will even beat it off the line in some cases. So you could still have a 305 and be beating that truck. How ever this does not mean that you dont' have a 350. Even if you check your vin code ( i believe the 8th digit is the one) and it says it's a 305 that doesn't mean that someone hasn't put a 350 in there.

Well, it's a 305. My truck is pretty fast for a truck, I've smoked alot of trucks and cars with it, but my TA will smoke my truck in a heartbeat. Im not sure if the previous owner put a hp chip in it or if its all stock, but when you hit the gas it throws ya back and ur gone.

Ya, I have a 305 in my bird and its quick as hell. If you put it in normal drive (no overdrive) it is very quick. As a matter of fact I beat a 76 camaro, of the start and I smoked his 350. I personally think that 305's are underrated.
