im not sure if this fits here but i thought it would (tires...). i have always wanted to know how to do a burnout. i would like to know how to do a burnout in FWD as well as RWD both in A/T and M/T. i would greatly appreciate to know. thank you.

The basic idea is to get your tires to break loose from the pavement when pulling out from a stoping start. If you can get you engine RPM up high enough the tires will break loose and spin when you let out the clutch or put it into gear. That's pretty much it. Of course this would be on a track or drag strip and not on a public street

If you have to ask, you don't need to be doing them...

neutral drops shorten the life of the tranny considerably that is if they don't break it first.

a neutral drop is probably the stupidest thing you can do with a car.

ok since no one really described to you how to do...i'll take my time and try to deterorate our youths mind. in an automatic tranny... (RWD) all you have to do is push the brake and hit the gas at the same time...will work if you have the power. (FWD) if you have sticky enough tires and an a good e-brake pull the ebrake and romp the hell out of the gas...usually will spin...again if it has power. Manual trannys are alittle more difficult and kinda takes practice. (FWD) same as AT put the e-brake...and just do a typical launch...push in clutch..1st gear...romp the gas, release clutch...(RWD) same motion as FWD but with out e brake, instead of hitting the e-brake you must you your regular brake...so when you drop the clutch immediately hit the break to stop you from moving and you'll sit and spin...those methods always worked for me anyways
