cheap and fast

new here.... anywho, I'm looking for a first car. there's a track near my house, and they have drag races every week. mainly ricers. and I'd like something cheap that could easily be restored and raced. any suggestions? I'm a big mopar fan.

barracuda,charger,challeger.
ok its not a great list but im totally into mopars but i hope it helps.
Make it into a sleeper,crappy on the outside and massive engine,driveline etc.

I don't think you'll be able to find a mopar for cheap that can be easily restored, unless it's a 4 door Dart or Coronet or something. Best of luck to you...

Cheap Mopar = A-body
Dart, Duster, Demon, Valiant, Scamp, etc.
Find one with a 318 or larger V8, swap in a 340 or 360, and have fun.

i would go with a dart demon or a duster slap some huge c.i. in there and kick some ricer ass or go with a 67-69 cuda put a 383 in their. got my 67 cuda first car i owned for 2500 pretty nice condition some rust but hay its almost 40 years old.

Dusters make some WILD drag cars...a buddy of mine had one and he custom fabricated the rods and other internals...it turned out to be one nasty duster. :naughty:
