clicking noise when braking '97 Z34

Hello,

My wife drives a 97 monte carlo Z34. For the past couple months there has been a clicking noise coming from behind the dash or close to firewall when braking. On drivers side.

This only happens when braking, not when turning. I can't really feel a difference in the brakes.

I have asked a couple techs with no luck.

I had this same problem in my '97 Monte Carlo LS.The problem is the ABS system.When braking in snow or rain it is supposed to come on as normal (clicking pulsating noise).But when it happenens all the time during normal braking/weather conditions you will need to take it in to the dealership.If I remember correctly they replaced a ABS sensor and it has been fine ever since.Hope this helps you.P.S. if your car is not under warranty expect to pay alot of $$$.
