My 91 PA

I just had my ECM replaced and now my AC does not blow out of the dash vents. It is still cold, but only comes out on the floor and at the windshield. Is my problem with the new ECM or is it unrelated?

The valves for directing air out the vents in the dash are operated by vacumn. Look on the firewall under the hood near/under the vacumn assist module by the brakes master cylinder. There is a vacumn accumulator mounted there with connections for two vacume lines. One line comes from the engine as the vacume's source. The other line will connect to the ac/heater unit thru the firewall. Your problem is most likely that one or both of these lines has fallen off and no vacume is getting to the ac/heater module.
Since you say you changed the ECM, you most likely left the vacume line off that connected to the ac/heater unit. (start engine, listen for a hiss).
