CRX owners..are you happy with your car?

Hey all, I"m pretty new to AF and for those of you who haven't seen me around my names Alan and I drive a 89 crx. What I was wondering is are you other crx owners generally happy with your crx? I know I love mine I always wanted one and I finally found one and sold my 91 accord for it. It's hardly given me any trouble (well it has but all stuff that I could fix) and I've had it for abouuut... 5 months so far. So are all you other crx owners pretty happy or would you rather go with something else? =)

I love my rex. I've had this one for a year now, and the only problem I've had was....well, is- is my ignitor acting up on me.

Besides that, the only problems that plague my 91' rex is stuff like weatherstripping on the window peeling off, and generally cosmetic stuff. I plan on keeping this rex a while. If for some reason I get rid of it, I plan on getting another, come hell or high water!

Well i had mine for 2 years now.Its been driving me nuts.This car has given me so many problems.But i still love it :)

CRX suck...be a real man and get a hatch :p

the shape is the diff...and the crx's lack of rear seats...do i look like i'm joking :grinno:

Well yeah the back shape is different and they have rear seats.. but they are pretty much the same car- I like civic hatches but I'm just more a of a crx guy, once again it's all just personal preferance so it's all good:biggrin:

crx isn't necessarily lighter...but itz a matter of preference in looks

hell yeah...(im stuck with a sedan...at least i have back seats :loser: )

I would not want the back seats so i didnt have to drive all my loser friends who don't have cars or have cars that suck and don't work, around all the time. Not having the back seat gives me the power to say NO GET YOUR OWN DAMN RIDE!!

Ive had a hatch and I have the crx, I have to say I like the crx more. Maybe because it's modded a whole hell of alot more than the hatch was but still.

I would still own another hatch.

lol, those are the times I miss my accord :frown:

but i personally like the hatch b/c it has a lot of load capacity...so when having to haul stuff around...u have a lot of room...including head room

ive only owned a CRX, and i love it to death. no matter how many problems its given to me i still put my money into it, its beautiful! if you want to carry people get an suv.

I love my crx but admittedly I've been thinking about getting a 2002 rsx. I COULD do it but it would be so dumb for me right now, because I'm a student and I'de be screwed with the monthly payments for a newer car so I don't see me and my rex parting for afew years.

Blu Civic- do you have any pics of your car I can see? I couldn't see any links in you're prof. just curious =)

ive had my crx for 6yrs now and nary a problem has arose, infact before the motor went, i didnt have any problems really, nothing i couldnt fix myself anyway. i love the crx, it huals alot of stuff with the hatchback style, plus it looks agressive and it fits me like a glove.

I've had my CRX Si for over 2 years, replaced engine, transmission, clutch and other stuff. What can I say? I'm hooked. This car can take me (and someone else) just about anywhere... on a daily basis :biggrin:

this was my 90 std that i sold in december....no pics of my totaled 91 or the or the red 91 i had for a couple weeks....notice my steelies with the chrome lip :smokin:

nice :) like the duel exhaust. So am I understanding right that you sold that? Then what are you driving now? I'll post up some pics of my crx after I get them scanned. I lost my software for my scanner and I have a new comp. (I know that sounds like a lame excuse) lol

yeah i sold it...right now i'm driving my dads SHO

oh my friend had a sho, the 94, SC V6, that thing moved, we were doing about 145 in it, with plenty room to spare, but we shut it down.

he has a newer v8 sho
