What is everyones problem?

I think people who post here take this forum too seriously, i havent been here long but damn, how the hell can someone have there feelings hurt online? with a bunch of ppl who just post whatever they want, and what the hell is the problem if someone posts all day everyday? This whole postwhoring thing is gay, who cares who has the most post, the more post, the less time they take off of AF, i mean come on people, AF should have no impact on your life outside of ur computer. Get real and stop taking this so seriously, i post on AF when im bored, and i use AF for valuable car info. There are way to many people on here who take this board to seriously, and why the hell would someone "leave" AF and maybe return? I mean there are tons of ppl on AF, why dont u just stop posting as much? I dont really see how someone can quit a message board, anyway its just my thoughts, hope i didnt "hurt" anyone by this

there are too many people fighting in OT, trying to turn the whole forum into what they think it should be.There will always be limits of decency on free speech,but other than that,expect anything and everything in a forum like this.We are all guests of the webmaster(Igor)and should respect his wishes re: postwhoring,but other than that,once you have made a thread or a post ,it is up to the whole forum to decide what direction it takes.
Now if you will excuse me,I am logging off for a while.Isuggest anybody else who does not like the way what the forum is playing out at the moment should consider doing the same

Yeah I saw that Steel, ah well screw it, just go on as normal, it doesn't make any difference.

The postwhoring thing is way over blown at times, but I also see the value of not congesting a good thread up with needless posts just to see your damn name there. I have as guilty as many others of doing this but as those of you have seen I have not postwhored in AF except in one area which I made two threads strictly for that. I kept the bullshit out of the other threads in that area and now whoring can go on (unpunished if you will) while excellent and valuable information along with constructive conversations take place in the other threads.

those of who have see or know what I mean can attest the rest of that forum area is now looking much better. For the record I did put a not in the first thread that said if postwhoring bothered you then stay out and don't read. Simply put I fixed two problems in one fell swoop and that entire area runs sweet now.

Oh and not need to put up an links guys as that is the club area I prefered to leave that for the club members, but I do suggest something simular in other areas of AF run by car clubs.

you know, people do take this thing way too seriously. it should be an escape or a knowledgeable quest if you will. not a place to gripe about how other people on this forum piss you off, or if you hate domestics, or if you hate F&F, or whatever the case may be. i have fun on this forum man, i like it. i hope others can do the same...

I have enjoyed my time here on AF and hope things stay cool. I don't like to see the bickering but it happens all over the internet, whether it's message boards like these or chat rooms. Everyone has their opinions and not everyone's gonna agree with some or alot of things. If I don't like someone's thread or reply, I simply move on to the next, rather than post comments to degrade the poster...that is totally unneccessary. The thing about boards like these is there is a broad range of age and maturity levels. No one is perfect. This by far has been one of the better boards as far as quality posts and I think the mods here do a good job at keeping things in check. I have been to boards where mods lock/delete threads because they have a personal problem with people and take sides with their "favorite" users....funny they become so attached and yet they have never met some of the people face to face. I also think things would be a lot less tense if users who do have a problem with one another take it to private messaging or AIM rather than posting for all to see...it only makes them look bad and/or makes people take sides.

Example, if someone posts something that you feel insults you, the best thing is not to get on here and flame them about it, just leave it alone don't post and forget it. less stress that way;)
