b18c1 more acceptable to turbo b/c of lower compression
b18c5 more acceptable to n/a, because of higher compression
b18c5 more acceptable to n/a, because of higher compression

Not to confuse, but there's also B17 (2nd gen Integra motor, 1st gen came with a DOHC D-series motor) and also B20 which is found in the CR-V Sport Ute. The B20 makes a bit more torque than any other B-series motor, mainly because it drives an AWD drivetrain and it's also in a truck per-se, so it needs more torqueness to handle what it might get into. The B17 is pretty weak in comparison, and if i remember right only put out 140hp and something like 112lbs./ft of torque (or somewhere in that neighborhood). There was also a B21 I think, but I can't remember where I've seen that from, or it could be some swap hybrid motor, ugh D-series is what I know about, so my B knowledge isn't quite as up to par. :p
So why do you ask the differances?
EDIT:
haha, I figured I was off on a few things there... Ok, here you go, B-motors and what car/year and hp output of each

Actually silvery2k the B17 is a great motor, it is basically a stroked b16, producing 160 hp and 117 ft/lbs.

Your right, I was thinking it was less HP than the B16 for some reason. I wonder why you never hear of hybrid builds using the B17 block...

easy, they are very difficult to find.
I've already had people offer me 400 just for the crankshaft out of my B17.
