1993 C1500 radio problem

The display on the radio control lights up but I can't change the radio station or set the clock. Fuse in fuse box is OK. Bought a used control and amp from a junk yard, installed them and it still doing the same thing. No radio or clock function.

Any ideas??

Sounds like one of your wires that provides current went out. You should have a constant current and current when you turn the key. If one is out, the radio won't work. Check your lighter fuse and if it doesn't help, check the radio connections to make sure you have alteast 2 currents connected to it (usually red, yellow, pink and/or orange)
