2. do i have to use the air that comes in the can?
3. was the airbrush worth the $2?

Its the biggest piece of crap, at least you didnt spend $20 on it. There are no replacement parts for it.

If you can get it to work, it was worth he $2! If not, you're out $2.
It won't work without the paint feed tube. I would head to the LHS, or anywhere else that sells parts for Badger airbrushes. I believe they sell badger replacement feed tubes, and I expect one might work for you.
No, you don't have to use the stupid propellant cans. It should have standard sized fittings, so you can use it with a compressor.
Get a compressor, learn to use the airbrush, and then upgrade the airbrush when you're ready.

actually there are replacment parts, if u had teh instructions.
when i bought soem kind of airbrush by testors a few years ago i lost the straw, and it told how to get new ones, tho i was once agian shot down by the fact that parents wont order any thing over computer/phone/mailorder
an airbrush for $2 is a good deal, and tho it may take some work it probably can be pretty fun.
dont worry bud, u dont need a $500 airbrush to paint a good car, seems like some people think so :disappoin

Not that they give bad paint jobs, the fact that they are very cheap quality makes them crap. I guess I just prefer my airbrush.

3. was the airbrush worth the $2?
Try to make a "little straw thing". Hunt around your mom's kitchen for a plastic straw or something. Maybe a piece of wire (remove the wire, keep the outer plastic covering). It only needs to be about 1.5 inches long - enough to reach the bottom of the little jar.
You don't have to use canned air. But if you don't have a compresser an air can is worth a try.
Let's see. You paid $2 for the airbrush. Now all you need to do is find a compressor for $4 and you've got it made. Failing that, expect to spend $150 for the compressor.
