make sure you cut the front grill from the bumper, and paste it inside. I have the same problem with the Fabulous Estima kit.

what do you mean "claybar"? :?:?

A claybar shouldn't be necessary as there isn't any contamanents in the paint...ie bird droppings, raildust, environmental fallout, etc.

"Claybar" is used in 1:1 car detailing/cleaning. It's used to remove contaminants from paint, as mentioned above.

Here is a link the the Type i used when i worked in a detail shop.

definately would not have much of a use in modeling.

Not unless it's been driven a couple thousand miles...

On a side note, I just claybar'd my real car. Anyone wondering about Meguiars NXT wax for their 1:1....it's awesome stuff.

Yes! The NXT is nice. Seems after I waxed my car with it...more people where looking at it...hahaha. I'm going to try it on the model when i'm done with the clear coat

I think your kit features GARSON Tuning, so here is the pic from the website (very large in size) :

I think you could try to use compound to rub the black off from the pink?

youngdrifter_x

what i did was i sprayed some pink on a cotton swab (q-tip) to cover it up then the black started smearing!! I was like =-o...AHHHHHHH...then i used the other side and took off the black paint...it was weird.. i still dont know what happened but it did...I still have some spots...but not as noticable. I need to go pick up some compound. This will be the first time i use it.

Thanks joecwlaw for the reply
