just so you know, i wasnt bashing on your car or your work anything, just constructive critisizm, i like your car, but i would go with some smaller wheels, those wheels look outragiously large, would look better if done up with a bodykit or something, what are those 18"s?
i like the wheels, just would like the overall feel if they were like 16's on a car without a kit

lol if he has 18 inch tires, the spare won't even touch the ground...

haha, this is true
i was also wondering if you have that area sealed up or is a board just sitting there?

cool, cool, they look bigger than that, but i guess dark wheels always do.
what kit are you getting? i had the "extreme" rear wings west sides and "kombat" front when i had my 4th gen
i love the wings west sides but arent too keen on the back, front looks good too, but i got a great deal on my kombat URETHANE front, i couldnt pass up the urethane kombat, for it is pretty hard to come by, i give you one peice of advice though....DONT get anything in fiberglass, i have had my share of fiberglass kits not fitting for shit and breaking under very ligt pressure...lol i had a blitz front on my old teg i got from ebay for what i thought was a good price, got it on and took it out for a spin and the damn thing broke from the air pushing on it on the highway...lol....anyway, im bores, im sure you can tell...im rambling like a madman.....lol....done

I like the Wings west since it follows the line of the car and isnt to extreme, but if i could find a other kit or anything in urethane i might consider it, have any links or anything to other urethane kits?
Wingswest is the only one i have found that is urethane...that is what i plan on getting unless i find something else that grows on me

that kit is fibreglass...the only urethane kits i know of is at www.spoilers.com ....and the WW kit...urethane kits are expensive...i say get a fiberglass kit and spray it with superglue to harden it and in the lower part of the bumper put in foam to make it stronger
audioquattro
07-09-2004, 01:02 AM
normally a whole kit is quite a bit cheaper than getting it piece by piece, if you cant find anything else urethane id say def. go for the ww rs kit, i like how subtle it is, and how it flows with the lines of the car so well
BLU CIVIC
07-09-2004, 01:07 AM
but the WW is as common as the car being stock though IMO
civic_geek133

Wingswest looks good though
i'll prolly just get the wings west, since its a nice, flows with the car and haven't heard anything bad about them.

Sweet! What material did u use when making the box? Was the bottom fiberglassed? I have the same hatch as u and was thinking about that myself.

Wood, Jiggsaw, Carpet, Staple gun and time...
no i didnt fiberglass the bottom, but now i wish i did because it doesnt sound as good. So if you plan on doing this make sure you enclose it.
