A/C and Heater fan not work--Help??

90 Corolla SR5---No heater fan--and no A/C when push A/C button to turn on (Not even the light). Checked All fuses and CB's that owners manual points out as well as fan resistor block. (All have continuity. Making me crazy (ier) :-) Any ideas. Thanks.........

Just because it has continuity, doesnt mean shit. Its probably your resistor, you should get another to double check. Do you have a DMM, or Digital Multimeter or Voltmeter?

OK--Fair (and true) about continunity.... Yes--I have a DVM (The confusing part to me is that the A/C doesn't even turn on (not even light)

Nothing turns on? Before the thing stopped working, was it giving any signs that it was going to fail, or not working up to speed? If so, then it could be a bad wiring harness somewhere. Otherwise, Im not sure if an entire AC control unit can fail. Check fuses, first of all, its always cheaper to replace 10c fuses. If its not, your going to have to backprobe connectors to the AC unit. Maybe you can localize a short or something. If you get all the way to the AC unit, then it maybe bad. Now, there might be a fuse inside of it, but I couldnt be sure.\

Sounds to me like a wiring fault. This is tricky if you have not done it, just give me a message or email or something, and I can give you some guidance. Wiring can be fun stuff if you know how to do it.

No "known" signs. (Kids car--said it just stopped working) I TOTALLY agree on it's wiring. (But like I said--I did check ALL fuses and CB's) I am comfortable with wiring, etc. (But--I can NOT find any diagram for this car. (Even the books at the local parts store--any diagrams in them (can't find specifically for a '90 SR5) don't appear to be accurate. I thought I was smart and know about the fan resistor block--but, like I mentioned--it has continuity thru all coils---and like you mentioned, continuity really can be misleading--but I would think that if the block was bad--I would have at least high fan---and--don't understand how that would effect the A/C power on switch (not even the "on" light comes on. (I'm still leaning towards a fuse/CB--but--where?? (I've checked all under hood, behind drivers kick panel AND the A/C fuse and CB under the passenger kick panel. Thanks for any ideas or asistance!
