Got a question for all you guys. I'm at my friends house last night watching some weird ass chinese movie called Hero and one of my friends peeps comes over. He has some civic IDK I didnt see it or anything. So he starts talking about it and all this stuff he is going to do to it. So of course we get in a "discussion" about Domestic vs import. This happens everytime I get in a discussion for Domestic vs import. He says something about how the NSX is amazing. So I ask him do u mean for road racing or for drag racing and he says both. I was like umm ok why would I pay 90K for an NSX in drag racing when I could buy a Viper for 83K and kill it. So then he brings up reliability when I prove him wrong and says the NSX is way more reliable and so I agree with him I'm like yea your probably right the NSX is more reliabile but were not talking about reliability here, we are talking about performance. So then it goes into yea well I could buy a used civic for 4K and put 20K worth of parts in it and smoke that viper. So I say well I could buy a used 5.0 mustang for 4K put 10K worht of parts in it and smoke your 24K civic and the viper easily. Then this is what they always say after this conversation "Yea well thats not fair your comparing 4 cylinders to 8 cylinders". Why do all you guys say that? If I can buy a more powerful car for the same price why does it matter how many cylinders it has? I dont know why import people cant admit that Domestic's are generally better for drag racing. I can admit that imports are generally better for road coarse racing than domestics but I've never met an import owner that will ever say domestic's are generally better for drag racing. Whenever I prove them wrong they will either bring up reliability or they will bring up the cylinder difference. Just wondering if any of u guys do this and why do u do it?
