Desactivating the auto door lock system..

Is it possible to desactivate the auto door lock system.. like when you go on D mode the door lock and when you go back to P they unlock.. I have the unlock issue with my drivers door and I think that if I could desactivate this system, once repaired, it would help a lot not to broke again.. Thx

I checked my owners manual. You can program the system so that all the doors stay locked when you shift into park, but apparently not to stay unlocked all the time. It's in the pages on door locks in section 2-3.
