Power No Audio

I have power to my radio (1995 740 i) but no sound, i took the radio out and checked all the wires, they were all ok, does anyone know if there is an amp in this car, and if so where its located

depending on the factory system you have, you'll find the amp[s] in the L/R of the trunk behind the cover panels on the side.

Did your radio show anything on its display? I'm having a problem where I have power to the back of the radio with the switch being on, but have no lights or anything. The fuse is still good. How'd you solve your problem?
