Spacer vs. Coilover??

Hey guys, great forum. I just bought a new doublecab TRD and want to lift it a little. I have read almost everything here and it seems coilovers are the way to go, but have not read anything about Downey coilovers. Just wanted to know if anyone here knows anything about them. Also, what is so bad about Fabtech?? They get slammed here and I was just wondering why?
