WAIT! i found out that the CompVR also came in 2 ohm dvc, but i don't know which one i have. how can i find out? if it happens to be 4 ohm dvc, can i still use this amp?

on the back of the subwoofer it should say.....and it will be possible to run the dual 4 ohm woofer, but you won't be able to get as much power out of the amp, you'll have to either bridge it at 8 ohms or run each voice coil to its own channel at 4 ohms apiece...

there is a problem then...the sub is already in a sealed box in my trunk. looks like im gonna have to take the sub out. if its 4, how much power do you think ill get?

ok i found out that it is in fact a 2 ohm dual. so all i need to do is bridge the amp at 4 ohms and i will get 450 watts right? im sooooo glad it is a 2 ohm! thanks. sorry for all the posts!
