Separating MAS from the airbox...

i've got a '02 US Lancer and i was wondering how to undo the bolts that hold the MAS to the airbox. i kept turning one bolt to find that i stripped the inside molding of the airbox, so now it turns freely. bastard. if anyone got ideas to separate the two, please help me! thanks...

does anyone know if these are the same? i might just get a 1.8L Mirage MAS from a recycler.

sucks you stripped it mine came off with ease but i took off the ram air and the air box to replace it with a k&n
